Come get some & taste it:) KADUCEUS was formed in 2002 in Rybnik (Upper Silesia, Poland). The band was founded by Maciej Golda, former member of the duo MSTEK, whose continuation in the initial phase - as studio project only - was to be KADUCEUS. Maciej Golda invited new musicians to the project. The first line-up were: Maciej Golda - classical guitar and vocals, Rafal Kupski - synthesizer and programming, Marek Jonderko - electric guitar, Emanuel Jagla - bass, Lukasz Grossek - classical guitar and Joanna Zarzecka - backing vocals. In 2004 they recorded demo called "Szuflada". The results were different than everyone first expected & music evolved to specific, difficult to classify sounds, lying somewhere between rock music and poetry. Also the lyrics were more mature. The band was ready to play live. Unfortunately, soon after the recordings were finished, the reality of everyday life forced Emanuel, Lukasz and Joanna to leave the band. It seemed to be the end of the story, but thanks to the new musicians: Robert Bereszko (bass) and Grzegorz Twardawa (dr) the band managed to survive.
